Abstract — In today’s security-conscious environments, managing and monitoring visitor access is a critical challenge for institutions and organizations. This paper presents a smart and automated Visitor Management System (VMS) designed using modern web and mobile technologies, integrated with IoT-based access control. The system facilitates a secure and efficient check-in process for visitors through a user-friendly Android interface built with XML. Upon submission of a digital check-in form, a notification email is sent to the concerned host, who can either accept or deny the visit request. If approved, a QR code is generated and sent to the visitor, enabling them to access the premises via an IoT-enabled gate system. The gate only opens upon successful QR verification, ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter. The same QR is used for exit, maintaining a secure and traceable flow of visitor movement.
